Pages of Salt, Salt Lake City, Utah

Inspired by patterns on the receding shoreline of the Great Salt Lake, the installation consists of hundreds of suspended sheets of a white Teflon fabric cut with incisions to suggest the texture of salt crystals. Covering a large concrete wall of a parking structure in the center of Salt Lake City, the fabric panels ripple in the wind, creating a focal point for a new public plaza.
